Eadnoth 21 and his wife are to retain the land for their lifetimes, after which it will revert to Ramsey. They are to pay 2 pounds every year to their son Æthelric 84, a monk at Ramsey, for his clothing. Leo 6.convening synod at Rheims: MS D: The great minster at Rheims was consecrated; Pope Leo 6 was there and the emperor and they had a great synod there about the service of God. St Leo 6, the pope, presided over that synod. It is difficult to know what bishops came to it and in particular what abbots, but 2 were sent from this country – from St Augustine’s and from Ramsey.
