Anonymi 162
(Noble ministri who lived at the royal court) : The royal household was systematically organized the whole time in three shifts. The servants (Anonymi 162) of the king were wisely divided into three groups, so that the one group served in the royal court day and night for a month; once the month was over and the second group arrived, the first returned home and remained there for two months, looking after their own affairs. By this system at all times the administration of the royal court was rotated in turns.
