*The king's name is not made explicit in the text.
*According to @M. Lapidge in BEASE (p. 339), Oda 1 was elected bishop in ca. 927.
*Oda 1 is known as bishop of Ramsbury. However, the reason why he is here described as bishop of Wilton is because in about 909, when a separate diocese of Wilton was created, it was decided that the see would be fixed alternatively at Ramsbury, Wilton and Sunning in Berkshire.
