Description	While Oda 1 sought to renovate the church which had been consecrated by Augustine 1, no heavy rain fell on the city's ramparts.

*The church had to be stripped of its roof.

Recipient: Oda 1 (Bishop of Ramsbury, c.927-941; Archbishop of Canterbury, 941-958) : He began to strip away the rot of the building's decrepitude: the beams and part of the wall. He also ordered the church to be raised twenty feet in height.
