Following Cynehelm 1's request Leo 1 wrote to him confirming the ownership of the monastery at Glastonbury for him and his successors. The same monastery had been previously confirmed to Cynehelm 1 by Ecgfrith 7. It was subsequently confirmed by Cenwulf 3 as well. |
