Ælfric 46, archbishop, to St Albans 1; bequest of 7.5 hides at Tew and land at Osney, Oxon.. The lands were to remain in Ceolric 2's hands until his death at which point they were to revert to the minster. Ceolric 2 had paid 5 pounds and 50 mancuses of gold for the lease on Tew. |
