Description	After the death of King Æthelbald 13, Æthelred 15 and Alfred 8 entrusted their share to Æthelberht 9 on condition that he return it along with his own inheritance.

Notes:

King Æthelwulf 1, their father, had bequeathed his lands to the three brothers Æthelbald 13, Æthelred 15, and Alfred 8, stipulating that whichever lived longest should succeed to the whole.
