Robertson, Charters, pp. 433-4; Oleson, 1955, p. 154, authentic; Finberg, ECW, no. 159, authentic; Hart 1970/1, p. 28, authentic; Gelling, ECTV, no. 293, authentic; Lawson 1993, p. 163 n. 9, on beneficiary; Pelteret 1995, p. 167.

Notes: The lease seems to have been witnessed by the royal witan. The text states that there were many other witnesses, too many to record all their names. There were three copies of the lease, one for Old Minster, one kept with the bishop's land-charters and one for Osgod.
