King William notifies Bishop William of London, Geoffrey de Mandeville and the sheriff and all French and English officials and faithful men of Middlesex that he wills and orders that the abbey of Westminster should have the estate of Chalkhill in Kingsbury, Middx, as freely as Thurstan, housecarl of King Edward, held it of that king, and as he gave it to that abbey, and as King Edward confirmed it in his charges.
