After Wulfbald 3's death his widow [Anonymous 928], along with her son [Anonymous 10010] went and slew Eadmær 6’s thegn, Wulfbald 3’s uncle’s son, and his fifteen companions [Anonymi 10003] on the estate at Bourne which he had held by seizure despite the king. And then Archbishop Æthelgar 8 had the great synod at London, and he himself and all his property were assigned to the king. |

Wulfbald 3 went and took possession of the estate belonging to his kinsman, Beorhtmær 4 of Bourne. Then the king sent to him and commanded him to give up the estate, but he paid no attention and his wergild was assigned to the king for the third time. |
