Event S1454    Wynnflæd 5 produced her witnesses at Woolmer before King Æthelred 32 to bear witness that Ælfric 81 gave her land at Hagbourne and Bradfield, Berks., in return for land at Datchet, Bucks.. The king then sent to Leofwine 34 by the archbishop and those who acted as witnesses along with him, and informed him of this but he would not agree, unless the matter were referred to the shire court.
