There was no severe fighting, for the two archbishops, Oda 3 and Wulfstan 14, reconciled the kings to one another and put an end to the battle. When peace had thus been made, the Watling Street was the boundary of each kingdom. Edmund 14 held the part to the south, Olaf 3 kingdom to the north.
