Theodore 1
(Archbishop of Canterbury, 668-690) : Theodore 1, in advanced old age and troubled by frequent infirmity, summoned Wilfrid 2 and Eorcenwald 1 to London and confessed the wrongs to Wilfrid 2 to which he had consented. He said he would reconcile royal figures and their chief men with Wilfrid 2. He urged him to accept his own archiepiscopal see while he was still alive. After entering into a peace treaty with Wilfrid 2, Theodore 1 sent letters urging reconciliation to Aldfrith 1, Ælfflæd 2 and Æthelred 1.

(Bishop of York and Saint, d.709) : Wilfrid 2 was invited with Eorcenwald 1 to meet Theodore 1 in London. Theodore 1 confessed that he had wronged Wilfrid 2 and with the bishops as witnesses promised to seek reconciliation between the kings and their chief men and Wilfrid 2. Wilfrid 2 agreed to be a friend but urged that letters be sent to his friends to make known their reconciliation and that they restore some of his property. To Theodore 1's offer that Wilfrid 2 become archbishop during his lifetime, Wilfrid 2 suggested that a greater council be held to determine who should receive Theodore 1's see after him.

(King of the Northumbrians and successor of Ecgfrith 4, 686-705) : Theodore 1 sent letters to Aldfrith 1 urging him for the sake of the redemption of the soul of Ecgfrith 4 to enter a peace-treaty with Wilfrid 2.

(Abbess of Whitby, d.714) : Theodore 1 sent letters to Ælfflæd 2 urging her to make peace with Wilfrid 2.

(Messengers sent with letters from Theodore 1) : Wilfrid 2 urged Theodore 1 to send messengers (Anonymi 404) with letters to his friends. Letters were sent to Aldfrith 1, Ælfflæd 2 and Æthelred 1.

(Bishop of the East Saxons, ?675-693) : Theodore 1 invited Eorcenwald 1 and Wilfrid 2 to London and made confession of his wrongs to Wilfrid 2. With them [sc. Wilfrid 2 and Eorcenwald 1] as witnesses Theodore 1 agreed to seek reconciliation between royal figures and their chief men and Wilfrid 2.
