*Latin title: Martyrologium *The manuscripts used here are given the following sigla by @Dubois and Renaud 1976: B: First family of Bede MSS (best represented by Sankt Gallen, MS 451, which terminates on 25 July) B2: second family of Bede MSS L: the Lyons Anonymous [before AD 806] (Paris, Bibliothèque nationale, lat. 3879, s. ix/1) F: Florus (first reension, a little after AD 837). For further details and references see @Dubois and Renaud 1976, p. VI. *Apart from the authorship, out of the 114 notices most of the material relevant to the PASE project comprises the entries for 12 March (Gregory 1), 20 March (Cuthbert 1), 24 April (Mellitus 1), 26 May (Augustine 1), 5 June (Boniface 1), 23 June (Æthelthryth 1), 3 October (Hewald 1 and Hewald 2, also with mention of Willibrord 1) and 11 October (Paulinus 1). @Quentin 1908, pp. 104-7, regards the source of this material to be Bede.HE.v.10 for the Hewald 1, Hewald 2 and Willibrord 1, and Bede.Chron.562 for Æthelthryth 1.
