Discussion of the name

Ællic is an Old English masculine name formed by the addition of a diminutive k suffix to the name Ælla or Ælli, itself probably a shortened form of a name in Ælf- (von Feilitzen 1937: 182; cf. Insley 2003: 379, 386).

The only entry in the PASE corpus is for Ællic 1, a catch-all category for occurrences in DB.
