Summary
Brun son of Becca was a peasant with 5 acres on Bury St Edmund’s manor of Great Barton (Suff.) in 1086.Profile
Brun son of Becca was a peasant with 5 acres on Bury St Edmund’s manor of Great Barton (Suff.) in 1086 (Feudal Book of Abbot Baldwin, in Douglas 1932: 26). It is possible that he was identical with Brun, father of Godric (Brun 31), and Brun, stepfather of Wulfwine (Brun 32), since both the son and the stepson were also peasants on the same manor.Bibliography
