Profile

The entry for Stannet identifies Godmund as the son of Særic (Særic 2). All four estates were held by Særic TRE, lay in close proximity to one another, and were all held by Roger de Lacy in 1086 (at Sarnesfield, Roger de Lacy is named as the subtenant tenant and Godmund as the sub-subtenant). Presumably the same Godmund rendered 5 shillings to the manor of Leominster in 1086 (GDB 130a (Herefordshire 1:10b).
