Leofgifu 11 was commended to both King Edward (Edward 15) and Earl Waltheof (Waltheof 2) and held two estates in Bedfordshire TRE, of which the largest was Aspley Guise and was held as a manor; the two estates had a combined assessment of 12½ hides and a valuation of £13. Aspley Guise was held by Ascard d’Ivry from Hugh de Beauchamp in 1086 whereas Bletsoe was then held by Countess Judith (Judith 3), the widow of Earl Waltheof, perhaps with Osbern de Breuil as her subtenant.
