Profile
The second largest of three holdings in the vill of Waresley, in the wooded clay uplands of southern Huntingdonshire, consisted of 2½ hides divided in 1066 between Magni 2 and Leofa, named in that order. Neither of them occurs as a landowner elsewhere. Although their holding was the smaller of the two flagged as manorial in DB it included the church and priest (VCH Hunts. II, 376–9).Bibliography
