Bibliography
Beorn 15’s very small estate was at Great Everdon, the referent of the place-name being a hill between the River Nene and one of its tributaries in south-east Northamptonshire. DB notes that the soke of this estate ‘lies in Fawsley’, a royal manor a couple of miles to the west of Great Everdon, which implies that Beorn’s land was in the lordship of King Edward (Edward 15) before the Conquest.
Beorn 15’s estate is too small and, at more than 85 miles, too distant from any other estate held by someone of that name for any connection between them to be considered.
