Manni 5’s tiny holding was at Oaktrow, above the steep-sided valley of the River Avill as it descends from Exmoor in west Somerset.  Although the DB form of his name, Manno, is ambiguous the corresponding Exon entry (359b4) has Manni(us), which points to Manni being the correct name  In either case, however, his holding was far too small and too isolated for any connection between Manni 5 and any other person with a similar name to be considered.
