Sibbi was the patronym of Sigeræd son of Sibbi%%(Sigeræd PASE no.).
Profile
Sibbi was the patronym of Sigeræd son of Sibbi, named in DB as the commended lord of the holder of 1 hide at Little Missenden, high on the dip-slope of the Chilterns in north Buckingshamshire. The name Sibbi occurs elsewhere in the county in 1066, as the holder (Sibbi 4) of a small estate at Bradwell, 30 miles north of Missenden, but there is no reason to suppose that he was Sigeræd’s father, who can be presumed dead by 1066.
