Bosi 2 occurs only in the DB entry for Roydon in south Norfolk where it is used as the patronymic for the TRE holder, Leofric, in the Latin form Lefriz filius Bose. It cannot be assumed that Bosi ever held this or any other land held by his son TRE. Although someone with a similar name, Besi 3, was recorded with two tiny holdings nearby in north Suffolk TRE, there is no obvious reason to associate him with Bosi 2 and the proximity of the two rare names may be simple coincidence. All we can really say about Bosi 2, therefore, is that his son must have been born before c.1050.
